Counting down the days! It's getting real!

We found out yesterday that everything has been approved! It was a very exciting day. I had not mentioned this but there was a slight chance that José Manuel might not be able to come because there were some errors in the process. But, thankfully, lots of thoughts, prayers, hopes and the hard work of the guardians in the DR, both José Manuel and Edwin will be arriving on Thursday.

I am not quite sure what I was expecting since I have gone through this before. However, I had not started doing anything to get them ready yet. So... today was as good of a day as any LOL

I was able to finish the Welcome Sign - and yes, there are pictures of corn and soybeans! Why? Because those are some things that we are know for! Along with the Indy 500, Indiana Dunes State Park and the Welcome Sign with Indiana as the Hoosier State! Want to make sure that the boys know a little about the place they will call home for the next 5 weeks.

Thankfully, I was able to work with a friend who made these cute, personalized canvas bags! They will be for when the boys arrive. Each bag will have coats, hats, water, snacks, and other necessities for the drive back from the airport.

After all of this, I decided to tackle the bedroom! They will be sleeping in Hudson and Holden's room. Currently, the beds are bunk beds. But... I think that I will take them apart so that both kids have a bed on the floor. But here is what I was able to accomplish today!

As I close this, I am so grateful to be able to do this. I grew up going to my grandma's regularly and there were always a ton of people (my mom is one of nine children). While the chaos of a full house makes my anxiety go through the roof, it also brings me peace and happiness. For those of you that are following, I hope and pray that you have a memory that brings you joy and helps you create new memories that bring about a similar joy.
